Enjoy a scenic 1-2 hr paddle through the Beaver Islands along the “Wild & Scenic” stretch of Mississippi River below St Cloud. View wildlife and miles of natural shoreline on this easy flowing, flat water stretch of river where motor boats rarely go. Clear Waters Outfitting will supply all the equipment and shuttling necessary so all you have to do is show up ready to relax and have fun on the water. No experience necessary and RESERVATION REQUIRED to guarantee equipment and space on the shuttle.

This stretch of river is designated “Wild & Scenic” by the DNR meaning many miles along this stretch are still in their natural state due to the protection, regulations, and zoning that are associated with this title. Very few river stretches have this designation and protection. Because it is a major migratory corridor, paddlers will often see eagles, blue herons, egrets, hawks, and pelicans along with many other birds, mammals, and amphibians that call this area home.

$10 per person/Age 12 & under free as 3rd person in canoe (Cost includes parking, canoe, paddles, life jacket, and shuttle service)
